Since 1961 when Redeemer first started its Christian Day School, its purpose
has been to be an instrument of God in providing a Christian education for the
members of the church and community. Christian education is built upon God’s
plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. Our task is to instruct
children within the framework of God’s Word and the Lutheran confessions.
Therefore, Redeemer’s school seeks to be an extension of the Christian
family where parents are supported in their responsibility of training and nurturing
their children in the Christian faith. The education standards aim high spiritually
and academically in developing the knowledge, skills and potential of each student.
Redeemer Lutheran School maintains a values system in which children may see
themselves and others as forgiven and redeemed children of God. The values taught
seek to nurture self-respect and respect for others.
