Money donated will be used to help a child (or a few) in any of the following ways...purchase a wig, get dentures, help with a cooling device, or maybe even attend a family conference. <br /> <br /> You can learn more about the NFED and ectodermal dysplasia at <a href="http://www.nfed.org/" target="_blank">www.nfed.org</a> or just talk to me. My son, Alex, grade 7, is affected by ectodermal dysplasia. He does not wear a wig, but he does wear a full lower denture. He also cannot sweat, so he takes learned measures to stay cool when needed. He also deals with eczema daily. We have attended a few family conferences over the years and it is a wonderful experience to be with others facing similar situations and to know that you are not alone. <br /> <br /> February is Ectodermal Awareness month and our family is selling raffle tickets as part of a fundraiser for the foundation. Tickets are $1 each with first place being $1000, second place is $300, and third place is $200. Alex and I will sell tickets all month. Just let us know if you are interested in purchasing any. The drawing is March 11 in Illinois (NFED office).
